Vehicle Safety Fence Training Courses

The Basic Erector course is for installers who are required to hold a certificate of competence as required by the Highways Agency. It is a 5 day course and covers the TCB, UCB, OBB and DROBB systems.

There are also add-on or stand-alone modules for Brifen Wire Rope, Flexbeam, Vetex, and RHS fences together with a range of P4 Terminals (ABC; Trininty Euro ET; Trinity BXT; Terminus; Xtension).

The Basic Engineers course is for engineers, clerks of works, supervisors or inspectors who will be working on the basic types of fences. It is a 3 day course and covers the main types of fence, TCB, UCB, OBB and DROBB. The Engineers / Supervisors course can be extended to include the proprietary systems.

All operative courses are in accordance with the National Highways Sector Scheme and lead to registration with the national awarding body, Lantra Awards. Registrations are valid for 5 years and can be renewed with one of our update courses.
