Vehicle Safety Fence
Training Courses
The Basic Erector
course is for installers who are required to hold a certificate of
competence as required by the Highways Agency. It is a 5 day course and
covers the main types of fence, TCB, UCB, OBB and DROBB.
There are also add-on or stand-alone modules for Brifen Wire Rope
and RHS fences.
The Basic Engineers course is for engineers, clerks of works,
supervisors or inspectors who will be working on the basic types of
fences. It is a 3 day course and covers the main types of fence, TCB, UCB,
OBB and DROBB.
All courses are in accordance with the Highways Agency National Highways
Sector Scheme and lead to registration with the national awarding body,
Lantra Awards. Registrations are valid for 5 years and can be renewed with one of
our update
courses.
